            We had a great time on the Polar Bear Toy Run this Year. It turned out to be a nice warm sunny day for a ride. We had over 170 people sign-up for the ride. We would like to thank everyone who helped, participated and donated to this event. Thanks to all of you this event was a great success and there will be many happy children come Christmas time. We had several pots of chili to choose from. Thanks Julie for making the chapter chili this year. Thank you for all the other fine pots of chili; it was much appreciated. Congratulation goes out to Frank who won for the hottest chili and Vicki for the best mildest chili.

At the close of this event we also gave away a trip for four for seven days and nights to a location of their choice. Congratulations Bill Kincaid of Monmouth, he is the lucky winner of the trip. Thank you to all who bought and sold these tickets for the chapter. Pictures can be seen at www.centralilabate.org

Coming up at the December meeting is our annual appreciation party and nominations for officers. Please plan on attending this one. It will be a potluck with the chapter providing the meat so please bring out your favorite side dish and come out for a good time. Our December membership meeting is the 15^th (the third Tuesday). Our next board meeting will be December 9^th (the Wednesday before the Membership meeting). Both meetings are held at Harley’s Pub in the banquet hall at 7 P.M... We would love to see all of our members there. The room is big enough to hold our whole chapter and then some.
