We had our General Membership Meeting July 21st, at Harley’s Pub. We hope there was good attendance. At the time of this writing the meeting has not occurred yet. Membership voted to have the membership meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm at Harley’s Pub. The board meetings will still be on the Wednesday before the membership meeting.
We had 41 people sign-up for our 3rd annual Just Because Ride. We all had fun riding over 180 miles with seven stops. Our annual Nite Flite run was on July 18th, hopefully the weather was good and we had a good turnout. Our annual Central IL A.B.A.T.E. Bash will be held on August 29-30 at Knoxville Fair Grounds. We are adding a few new field events this year. The field events will be on Saturday afternoon and the bike show and auction will be on Sunday. We will have custom T-shirts, leather, patches, custom patches, magnetic jewelry, sunglasses, tattoo artist and a variety of food on site. Please see the flyer on another page in this issue.
We are still in need of people to help collect auction donations for the annual Central IL. A.B.A.T.E. Bash. Please contact LeRoy, 309-342-7304 if you want to help or have items to donate.
This year we are selling tickets for a 7 day 7 night stay in one of over 5000 resorts worldwide. Julie has tickets available for members to sell or buy.
Our next membership meeting is August 18th, 7PM, at Harley’s Pub, and the next Board meeting is August 12th, at 7 PM, at The 21 Club.
